Integrarea platformei in reteaua națională de cercetare este ilustrată de numărul de contracte de cercetare aflate în derulare în acest moment în entitatile care participă la formarea platformei. Potrivit tendinței din ultimii ani, cele mai multe din aceste contracte/granturi implică cercetări interdiciplinare în parteneriat. Tinând cont de cele 44 contracte de cercetare din anul 2006, putem afirma că atât din punct de vedere al tematicii cât și al relațiilor de parteneriat, membrii componenți ai platformei sunt integrați in rețeaua națională de cercetare.
